The last week of June the kids and I drove to Salem to visit my grandfather. On our way there we stopped at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery and Multnomah Falls for lunch. We had a great time visiting with my grandfather in the rainy Salem weather. My aunt Lee took us out shopping and to see Monster's University in 3D which was fun. In between rain storms I took the kids to the A.C. Gilbert Discovery Center to play and the Arcade to spend some of the change Great Grandpa saves up for them. On our last day there the sun came out and I took the kids to my favorite place in Salem, the Enchanted Forest. My grandparents use to take me there when I was little. It's no Disneyland but it is still a magical place to explore. On our way home we stopped in at OMSI in Portland but Ashley wasn't feeling very good so we didn't stay very long. We had a fun visit and were spoiled rotten!! Now home to the heat wave.
