Owen's Hoppin' Birthday Party

This year for Owen's birthday we decided to take all the kids to Bounce in Meridian. It's a big warehouse full of jumpy houses, slides etc... After a day full of sweet Valentines treats, they all needed to burn off some energy. It was a lot of fun for the kids and the adults. Everyone had a great time and Owen had a wonderful birthday. Can't believe he is six now.

Happy Valentines Day

We like to celebrate Valentines Day in the morning then Owen's birthday in the afternoon to evening. That way we can separate the holiday from his birthday. It worked out great this year. Ashley's class party was last Friday afternoon and Owen's was this morning. Alysha took cookies to share with her orchestra class. Lots of love and sweets..

Mike speeds around Walmart

We went to Walmart to pick up a few items for Owen's birthday party. Mike got to ride around on one of the scooters. He was so fast. I could not help from taking a few photos and laughing the whole time. You should have seen all the looks.

Delaney's 3rd Birthday

Delaney's 3rd birthday party was at the Hampton Inn in Boise where the kids got to go swimming. They had a great time and we had a hard time getting them out of the water. Then we all headed to the lobby for some food, cupcakes and to watch Miss Delaney open presents. Can't believe she is 3 already.

Braking Mike

(Mike with new walking boot and t-shirt he got at Legoland "The force is strong with this one".)

1 week after getting home from our vacation Mike broke his leg (right above his ankle). He likes the story that his motorcycle decided to ride him. He was out riding in the gravel and decided to spin a cookie to turn to go the other direction. The bike caught some traction and the front wheel came off the ground causing him and the bike to fall to the right. Resulting in fracturing his leg. He managed to ride it home then we took him to the urgent care for x-rays. Where they set him up with this awesome walking boot. The next day we went to see the Orthopedic Surgeon for more x-rays and to set up surgery the following day to have two screws put in his leg to hold the broken piece in place. His surgery went well and he is back home healing. We got him a pair of crutches but he ends up hopping on one foot most of the time around the house. The doctor said he thought Mike would be back walking on it in two weeks. Until then we are hangin at home.

San Diego, California back to Caldwell, Idaho

Our last day in San Diego we packed up all our stuff and dropped it at the hotel office. Then headed back the Mission Beach. We spent three hours enjoying the sun, sand and waves. The kids had a blast playing in the surf and making a sand castle. Then we went up to the little shops and had lunch and did some last minute shopping. Then we headed back to the hotel to pick up our luggage and headed to the air port. We all loved San Diego but Owen seemed to really not want to leave. He waved out the airplane window and said "Bye, San Diego. I'll miss you" then blew the city kisses. Our flights were behind schedule but we did make it home. It was a wonderful busy week that we will remember for a long time.

SeaWorld

We had a little bit slower morning since we didn't have to meet the greyline bus to Seaworld until 9:50am. So we had a nice breakfast first. Once we got to Seaworld we checked out the show times then went on an Arctic helicopter ride, saw the polar bears, whales and penguins. Then went to see the Dolphin and Shamu killer whale shows. Then we stopped to pet the Bat Rays and had lunch. We then explored the tide pools and went on a few more rides. It was a great day with lots to see.
