Backyard fun

We had the Allen's come over to play in the backyard while we BBQ'd. The kids had fun playing in the pool, picking vegetables and being goofy. We gave uncle Will his birthday present early and have zucchini brownies.

Boyer and Pepe

We babysat Boyer, my brother's Jack Russel terrier for a week while Cody went to Montana. Boyer was a lot of fun to watch. The kids loved playing with him. He watched movies and slept with Alysha at night. Towards the end of the week Boyer finally noticed Alysha's bearded dragon Pepe and he freaked out a little. Boyer did everything he could to see Pepe better. Not sure what he was thinking but it looked like he was confused as to why we had an alien in the living room and no one else was worried about it.

Garden to Jungle

My garden has taken off and so have the weeds. Its now a crazy jungle but still much better than previous gardens. We have lots of zucchini and tomatoes. We have been trying to pull the morning glory out but it is wrapped around most everything. I have a giant bean stalk that is absorbing a few of my sun flowers, and lettuce trees.

Sunset Ride

Owen asked to go for a motorcycle ride with us so we went for a short one in the evening and watched the sun set. It was very pleasant and a beautiful sunset.

Goddess Fest

I've been learning a new style of belly dancing, gypsy tribal. We all were invited to perform at goddess fest in Boise which was a lot of fun. Ashley decided to make a costume and go with me. We had a nice mother daughter afternoon looking at all the booths and watching performances.

Hot Air Balloon Ride

Finally the weather cooperated so Alysha and I could go on our hot air balloon ride to celebrate graduation. Other than having to get up at 5 am to get there in time for our ride, it was awesome experience. We got to watch them inflate the balloon then went for an hour long ride just above the tree tops. The ride was nice and slow with a beautiful morning view of the valley.
