Reunion day 3

On the third day we went exploring. We went into Hagerman to the Fossil Bed Visitor's Center and watched a movie, looked at fossils, and the kids played in the little discovery center. Then we made a quick stop by an ice cream social where the kids all got huge bowls or cones of ice cream. Next stop was the fish hatchery to pet the fish. We headed back to camp for lunch then returned to exploring by checking out one of the many waterfalls in the area. It was really warming up so most everyone either got wet in the waterfall or the river. Once everyone had their fill of exploring we headed back to camp. Mike and cousin Jasson BBQ-ed steak and Ruby cooked the onions and peppers for fajitas. Aunt Kristey made a yummy 7-layer dip to go with aunt Ruby's salad. We all sat around the campfire and finished off the marshmallows that were left while playing "Would you rather?" It was a late night for most everyone but a handful stayed up until 4 am. The next morning everyone but us jumped up and quickly packed up to leave. We have never seen this group get ready to leave for anything quite so quickly. Some headed home while others decide to do some more exploring. We slowly packed up then headed home to unpack and clean. It was a fun full weekend. Thank you to Bob and Julie for setting everything up. :)

Reunion day 2

Everyone woke up the next morning ready to start all the fun the day had in store for us. Aunt Carla set up her craft table where the girls got busy making book marks and bracelets. Owen chopped more fire starter. Audrey and Landon played in the dirt. We all went swimming in the swimming pool. Then we played games; scavenger hunt, three legged race, egg & spoon race, sponge & water race and Cheetos toss onto shaving cream race. As if that wasn't enough fun, we went back in the pool for more swimming. Then Uncle Bob and Aunt Julie made yummy sloppy joes with sides grandma Reva, aunt Carla and aunt Shelley made to go with them. We finished the day with a group campfire.
