Christmas Day

Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas! We started the day off early at 6:30am and that was after sending kids back to bed twice at earlier times. The kids know if they want to open any presents they have to let me get a few photos. Here they are all bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to open presents. They started off with their stockings then we moved on to presents. Then each took turns opening gifts from new Legos, dolls, PJ's, makeup, art supplies, robot bugs, easy bake oven, shark air swimmer and more. We had a wonderful Christmas morning followed by cleaning up paper and boxes then onto taking things out of their boxes and playing for hours. :)

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Reva's house to celebrate with Mike's side of the family. Here our the kids in front of her tree. They had fun playing with cousins, eating lots of goodies and opening presents. Then we came home to our little tree and we got ready for bed. They left cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.

Night full of dancing

Last night was Ashley's ballet recital and Alysha's first school dance.

Ashley did a wonderful performance with her ballet class from the Canyon Dance Academy's Winter Recital at the Caldwell High School's Auditorium. They were little sleepy time girls where they danced then fell asleep on stage. Then little fairies sprinkled sleeping dust on them and danced behind them. Followed by Santa checking to see if they were asleep then he placed two ballerina dolls (really teenage dancers) on stage. The dolls danced then the little girls woke up to see the dolls. It was a packed house full of family to see the kids dance.

Alysha and her friend Jacobi spent a few hours straightening Alysha's hair and deciding on what to wear to the dance at Heritage Community Charter School. I stopped in at the dance a little early to take a few photos of the girls. Looked like they had a nice time.

Snow People

So I've been keeping myself busy during the day working on these snow people for the kids' school lobby. Mike trimmed them and added cardboard stands on the backs and they are now ready to go to school.
