Baby, it's cold outside.

2011 has started off COLD so cold that Lake Lowell is a big sheet of ice. We decided to go explore and slide on the ice one evening. On the Nampa side of the lake you could see down to the rocks on the bottom so it looked like you were suspended a foot of more above the ground. On the Caldwell side is was much smoother and easy to slide on. Here are some photos of all the fun.

Mike flying above the ground.

Stacy and Owen exploring the beach.

Kids on the frozen ice.

Mike pulling the kids around on the ice.

We had a nice evening but are headed home to warm up with a bowl of chili.
