We have a long list of things to do this summer and have been trying to mark them off one by one. So far we have signed up for the summer reading program at the library, had a water balloon fight, grew crystals, made shrinky dinks, created clay sea creatures, Owen built a little sail boat for cub scouts, made popsicles, gone for ice cream cones, ate doughnuts on National Doughnut day, rode our bikes to the park for lunch, set up the swimming pool, spent the night with cousins on both sides of the family, played on the slip n' slide, gone to 4-H art camp, 4-H science camp, Owen went to cub scout day camp, Ashley has been taking care of her school garden box and they have been played with friends. It's been a great start to the summer and we are planning to keep enjoying it with lots more fun and family.
