We took Ashley and Owen out to the new park by Lake Lowell to fly kites. The weather was perfect, sunny, warm and windy. Most of our kites are from the Oregon coast. When we head to visit my grandfather we never take kites with us but if we end up going to Newport or Lincoln City we end up buying a new kite or two. The ocean always sounds like a day at the beach but on the Oregon coast it is usually windy and cold so kite flying is the thing to do.
