Our celebration started by getting a phone call saying that we won the $150 worth of fireworks from the CHS band and choir TNT fireworks stand. After we picked them up we headed to the parade then looked at the booths at the Memorial park. In the afternoon we went to the city pool for free swimming day and all got a little sun burnt. Opps. Once we were back at home we had a BBQ with family. Then we enjoyed Mike's birthday cheeseburger cake with ice cream. The fireworks were relocated to Brother's Park which is very close to our house so we walked over to the park and watched the city fireworks then came home to light our huge pile of fireworks. The kids decided to save some of them for New Years Eve. It was a fun and busy day.
