Busy days of April

It's amazing how fast time flys by when you are busy. I messed with my hair AGAIN, it was suppose to be dark brown but it's black. The kids said I look like Astro Boy but Mike seems to like it better. The beginning on April I had a day surgery and had my power port removed. So happy to be done with that thing!! We have had fun playing outside inbetween rain storms. We watched cousin Mason's T-ball game and went to the Discovery center. We have planted flowers and grass seed, worked on the garden and flower beds, started building two more rabbit hutches and Mike is progressing on the shed. The kids have gone to two Lowe's build & grow workshops and made a planter and a bird feeder. Alysha and Amanda went to a Safe Sitter babysitting class and we went to a puppet show. Owen is registered for Kindergarten and we are hoping for the morning class and the kids all started rabbit 4-H. It's been a busy April but going to see how much we can do in May and hoping the weather will be a little nicer.

April Fools Day and Easter

Spring break has been a busy one this year with lots of family and holidays. Aunt Ruby, Uncle Scott and cousins Alyse, Lexi, Alaina & Layla all came to visit from Colorado Springs. Aunt Shelley and cousin Sarah were here from Seattle and Uncle Bob and cousin Tyler stopped by for a couple days for Easter. Mike's family really gets into April Fools Day. This year we decorated Grandma Reva and Grandpa Al's truck and Mike's Van while they were at work. Both said "Just Married" on the back with tin cans, window paint etc.. Tape on faucets so they spray water all over, chocolate covered dog food or even rocks.

Grandma Reva's house is always full of arts and craft projects. The kids all decorated Easter hats, colored Easter Eggs, played games and hunted for eggs in the backyard. By the time we went to the Caldwell City Easter Egg hunt they were all pros at hunting for eggs.

The weather wasn't very nice over Spring Break but did water all the flowers and grass really well. We did manage to spend two afternoons working on Mike's shed and my garden with Ruby & Scott's help. Hoping the weather will be nice for a little while so we can get a few things done in the back yard.

Our trip to Post Falls, Idaho

The Hardys - Mike, Stacy, Steven, Alysha, Ashley, Owen, Zak & Bella

We had fun on our trip to Post Falls, Idaho to visit our big boys (Steven & Richard). We stopped at the Columbia Park in Kennewick on the drive there for lunch and to play in the cool wooden fort. We found our way to the boy's house then checked in at the Shilo Inn in Coeur d'Alene. They kids all loved the hotel and wanted to live there with the indoor pool, hot tub, the cartoon network and free waffles in the mornings. What could be better?? We went to the lake, the park and shopped. We had a BBQ at Steven's mom's house for Steven's 20th birthday. Then went to Chinese for dinner the next evening. We had a nice trip but it is always nice to be back at home. :)

Easter Bunnies are coming!

We are getting baby bunnies for Easter. Alysha and I picked them out a couple weeks ago and they should be ready to pick up the end of March right before Easter. Alysha's is the brown and grey she is going to name him Bubbles. Ashley's is the middle white one, she is going to name her Mist. Owen's is the grey one and he wants to name his Thumper.

Mike and I built a bunny hutch then the kids helped finish it.
