Last few days of 2016 and New Years Eve

We enjoyed some quiet time at home the last week of 2016. The kids built lego sets, played board games and read books. It was a nice week that ended with New Years Eve where we decided to just take the kids to a movie, went downtown to see all the lights and back home for snacks, movies and fireworks. Kristey and Amanda stopped by just in time for fireworks. It was nice not to have to worry about trying to get home late with bad roads and crazy drivers.

Christmas

We woke up early on Christmas, opened stockings and presents then made a big breakfast. Then we cleaned up all the wrapping paper and boxes so the kids could play with a few of their presents. In the afternoon we drove over to my sister Molly's house in the Boise foothills where we had a wonderful dinner, went sledding and opened a few more presents. It was a fun and busy day.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at Grandma Reva's house. We had a pot luck dinner of finger foods, played games, told stories, and exchanged homemade gifts. For some reason I didn't take any pictures but luckily Aunt Kristey did. It was a nice cozy evening. Once we got home the kids opened up their new pjs and we watched a movie.
